Terms for cleaning, laundry and tailoring services – Mura Laundry
- Before handing over garments, the customer must make sure there is no money, jewellery, accessories or other valuables inside them. The Company is not responsible for their loss. The Company may refuse items that are heavily worn, smell unpleasant, look repellent or present a risk of infection.
- The completion time depends on the process, the type and degree of soiling, the number of stains, the difficulty and the capacity of the location. It is communicated when the items are received and may be extended if unforeseen issues arise. Express service (within 24 hours at most) costs 50% more than the list price.
- If an item is not on the price list, its price is set by comparison with similar items or by the amount of work involved; the customer’s signature on the order receipt confirms agreement. Payment is made in advance. Items needing special treatment are priced separately, with the customer’s agreement.
- If an item is damaged during processing solely through the provider’s fault, or is lost or stolen from the premises (as established by the police), the provider will compensate the customer with up to 5 times the price paid for the service, within 30 days. Compensation will never exceed 70% of the item’s purchase value; both parties acknowledge 30% wear for any item. For items that are part of a set, only the damaged item is compensated. After compensation the item becomes the provider’s property.
- The provider is not liable: (a) for items without a care label, which are processed at the customer’s risk; (b) when, at the customer’s express request, items are processed differently from the care label or the specialist’s advice; (c) for difficult stains (set-in or old stains that have gone through the fabric); (d) for counterfeit items whose care label does not match the fabric; (e) for changes in size or damage caused by hidden defects of the material (fabric, seams, linings, adhesives, dyes) or damage to accessories (buttons, buckles, zips, decorations); (f) for delays caused by force majeure (power or water outages, capacity exceeded); (g) if the order receipt is lost or stolen and the items are released to someone else.
- By signing the order receipt the customer expressly agrees to the items being processed and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (art. 16 a) of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014).
- Natural fur, leather (smooth or suede) and sheepskin may change colour due to tanning or dyeing defects or unsuitable materials; such items are processed exclusively at the customer’s risk.
- Complaints about quality can only be made when the items are collected; later complaints are not accepted. If the customer asks for items to be reprocessed, they can be taken back after paying the corresponding fee.
- Items are returned on presentation of the original order receipt or the SMS received by the person who placed the order. The identity and address of the person collecting the order are confirmed by signing a handover report.
- Items not collected on time, or within 10 days at the latest, are charged the value of the service. Items not collected within 60 days are considered abandoned and donated to non-profit organisations.
- Items worth more than 200 EUR must be declared, and the service then costs 10% of the declared value. If the value is not declared and the 10% fee is not paid, compensation can never exceed 5 times the price paid for the service.
- The Company processes personal data (name, phone number) under art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the legitimate purpose of identifying customers, handling orders and transferring items safely. The data is not shared with other recipients and is kept for 5 years. You may exercise your rights (information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, rights related to automated decisions) by e-mail at office@muralaundry.ro.
- These terms form a contract between the customer and the provider, accepted by both parties when the customer signs the order receipt.
